چکیده
Klebsiella pneumoniae is a pathogen relevant to hospital acquired and community such as urinary tract infections, pneumonia, wound burn. It has high levels of antibiotic resistance capability produce biofilm. This study included comparing among six patterns for the detected biofilm gene (mrkA). Clinical samples were collected from Teach Bagubah Hospital, Al-Batool Maternity Children Teaching private laboratories in Baqubah/Diyala, Iraq. To investigate antibiotics susceptibility, Kirby-Bauer disk diffusion method was used compare between isolates isolates. Hospital K. less susceptible than Both rates β-lactam/β -lactamase (Amoxicillin-clavulanate Ticarcillin- clavulante). Screening confirmation based on ESBL chromogenic agar are more sensitive producers double synergy test, which 30% 60% produce- ESBLs nosocomial acquired, 20% 40% respectively. The results gel electrophoresis PCR product using specific primers mrkA prevalence 83.33% 66.6% infection, demonstrated rest paper.

Background and Objective: The role of biofilm formation by bacteria has been considered as an important stage in the pathogenesis of Klebsiella pneumoniae. This pathogen is one of the most important opportunistic pathogen agents of nosocomial infections, such as pneumonia, urinary tract infections, invasive infections, and surgical site infections. This study aimed to investigate the biofilm pr...

PURPOSE Klebsiella pneumoniae is the most common endogen agent for nosocomial infections. In this study, mortality markers were investigated in patients with nosocomial K. pneumoniae blood stream infection (NKp BSI). METHODS The characteristics of patients >16 years who had NKp BSI diagnosis by daily active surveillance between January 2012 and January 2016 were retrospectively evaluated. Pat...
